I worked on this while at work one day.
The marigold getting more and more limp as i went.
My manager picked it up while I was half way through the bud.
So It ended up looking pretty well wrong in the end...
You can sort of see that the bottom set of leaves seem more foreshortened than the upper set.
They were lying completely flat by the time I got around to them.
Perhaps work isn't the ideal place to draw things that wilt...
These are my favorite things to draw, however.
I'm very interested in botanical illustration, and always have been.
I doubt I'll ever be talented enough to pull it off well.
But i suppose it cant hurt to try.
